Tulipán je jarný okrasný kvet.
Je to cibuľovitá trvalka. Vysádza sa v skupinách. Tulipán má pestré farby. Má rôzne farebné odtiene. Rastie v nezamokrenej pôde. Obľubuje slnečné miesta. Tulipán má vyššie i nižšie druhy. Darí sa im, keď je relatívna vlhkosť vzduchu 60 - 70 %. Ideálna teplota predstavuje dvadsať stupňov Celzia. V miestnosti s ústredným vykurovaním treba zabezpečiť odparovacie misky s vodou a dobré vetranie, ale pozor na prievan!
